The service

Release Sonar is a free tool by nubuza that helps you find new releases by artists in your music library. It is provided "as is", without warranties: release data may be incomplete, late or wrong, and matches between your folders and artists may be wrong.

Your data

Your library data is stored in your browser and is your responsibility. Download a backup if you want to keep it: clearing your browser data deletes it, and we cannot recover it.

Fair use

Release Sonar respects the MusicBrainz rate limits. Do not modify or automate it to send more requests than it does by itself.

Third parties

Release data comes from MusicBrainz (CC0) and cover images from the Cover Art Archive, under their own terms. Links to external sites are not under our control.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, nubuza is not liable for damages arising from the use of Release Sonar.
