Saw It Coming is made by nubuza. In short: we have no server and no database. We never see your projects, your inventory or anything you type.

Where your data lives

  • On your device, in the browser storage (IndexedDB), encrypted with AES-256-GCM using a key that never leaves the device.
  • In your own Google Drive, in the app's hidden folder, so your devices stay in sync. Files are encrypted on your device before upload with a sync key only your devices have. Google stores them but cannot read them, and neither can we.

The cutting plans are computed on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere to compute them.

Google account and Drive access

The app asks Google for one permission only: drive.appdata, which lets it create and read its own files in a hidden app folder of your Drive. It cannot see, change or delete any other file in your Drive. It does not ask for your name, email or contacts.

The access token from Google is kept in memory only while the app is open and is never sent to us. The data received from Google APIs is used only to store and sync your own projects, it is never shared with anyone, never used for advertising and never used to train AI models.

Saw It Coming's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Cookies and tracking

The app sets no cookies of its own and uses no tracking or analytics that identify you. Google's sign-in window is run by Google under Google's privacy policy.

Hosting

The app's files are served by Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver the pages and to protect the site, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not keep those logs.

Your control

  • Export everything to a file at any time (Settings → Backup).
  • Delete everything with Settings → "Delete all my data": it deletes the app's files in your Drive, revokes the app's access to your Google account and wipes the device.
  • You can also remove the app's access at myaccount.google.com/connections, and delete its hidden data in Google Drive → Settings → Manage apps.

Children

The app is a tool for workshops and is not directed at children under 13.
